a few days ago we visited our English friends blog they had a post on what they ate for lunch and asked us what we ate for lunch so we told them we bring our own lunch that we can eat with our hands.this is a picture of my lunch.

Camp Talent Quest

On the second night of camp we had a talent Quest Me,Alex H,Jaiden,Alex W,Nero did some Break Dancing this is a bad photo but it is the only one we had. Well any way there were some pretty good acts even an ipression of mr B well any way i had a good time

Mrs J showed us a poem by Benjamin Franklin called For Want of a Nail. We had to write our own version. This is For Want of a Nail.

For want of a nail the shoe was lost.
For want of a shoe the horse was lost.
For want of a horse the rider was lost.
For want of a rider the battle was lost.
For want of a battle the kingdom was lost.

And all for the want of a horseshoe nail.

Camp Minjerribah

This week 6J are going on a school camp with 5B. This camp is at the beach so we will be surfing and hopefully will see some whales passing by. We are also going to be building rafts and going canoeing. Here is the timetable for camp so our families will know what we are doing.

Rugby World Cup

Last weekend i woke up at three o'clock in the morning to wacth the opening of the rugby world cup followed by France vs Argentena and on sunday the wallabies vs Japan we won!!!.

harry potter

Yesterday I read Harry Potter for the first time ever and I actually liked it all even though it cut out so much in the movie. My favourite character was Hagrid because he is very friendly the character I hate most is Professor Quirrell because he had Lord Voldermort on the back of his head .On my birthday I am going to watch the next movie . !!!!! I am now finished the whole series.

One Metre

This morning Mrs J challenged us to fit a metre line on a piece of A4 paper. She said that we weren't allowed to cut the paper and the line had to be joined. We also had to be able to prove that it was 1 metre long.
I drew 9 cm lines with 1 cm between them. I knew that each section of my line would be 10 cm and if I drew 10 of them joined together it would be 100 cm and that makes a metre. To prove that it was a metre I wrote the measurements on the lines and wrote a sum to show how I had worked out the answer.
